Documentation of statistics The reference period of the statistics is the last week of the year (25 to 31 December). The latest valid regional division is used in the statistics. Due to the employment pension reform, the lower age limit for employed persons rose in 2005 from 15 to 18 years in the employment statistics. The change is visible as a fall in employment by young people and a rise in the number of students.
