Tota fertility rate (4 years period)

Total fertility rate refers to the sum of the fertility rates of age groups. The figure indicates how many children a woman would give birth to, on average, if the fertility rate of the reference period remained valid throughout the woman's fertility age. In the municipality-specific total fertility rate, the fertility rates of age groups have been calculated for a four-year period. The calculation makes use of five-year age groups.
