Voting place

Voting place. The general advance polling stations abroad are the Finnish representations and their establishments (hereinafter referred to as representations) designated by Government decree. Anyone entitled to vote in elections may vote there, regardless of the country or municipality in which they live. Voters on holiday or on a work assignment abroad, for example, can therefore vote at the representations. Advance voting is also organised on Finnish ships that are away from Finland during the advance voting period in Finland and on election day. The advance voting in ships can begin a week earlier than other advance voting. Only the crew of the ship may vote on board the ship.
