In the release in August 2023, the number of pupils in intensified support in 2022 was given as 79,177, the correct figure is 79,019. Similarly, the number of pupils in special support in 2022 was given as 55,544, the correct figure is 55,542. The number of pupils was also corrected, the correct figure is 563,135, the previously reported was 571,460.
Documentation of statistics . missing Pupils accepted or transferred to special education during 1995 to 2010 have been regarded as equal to pupils having received special support.
